iCookbook Review. I am all about ways to save money and especially times. I carry my iPod Touch around almost everywhere now. I write down money saving tips as I am on the go. I was introduced to iCookbook and was assured it was not gourmet meals but everyday meals mothers would use.

I have to tell you I certainly enjoy iCookbook. Not only are there recipes added every month the recipes are categorized easily and are great meals. I really like the function of substitutions. The other day I was looking for a substitute for eggs since I didn’t have any, well there wasn’t a substitute for the eggs but I found many other interesting items I could substitute in other recipes. It was a big help!

I like the handy measuring conversion tool as well as the shopping list. With the shopping list I can move over all the items needed for the recipe or I can select specific items to add or remove and I can change the quantities. I also like the ability to change the recipe to the serving size I need since most nights it’s just my three kids and me so I really am only making a meal for 2 since my kids have not been eating as much as I would like plus I have been adding lots of salad and fruit to each meal since I know they will eat that.

I really do recommend the $4.99 for the app because you will definitely get your money worth using this awesome app. It’s a great resource to use when you feel like you are all out of meal ideas.

To purchase this app visit itunes.com/store and search for iCookbook app. This app is designed for iPhone and iPad but I was able to use it on my iPod Touch 3rd generation.
