Book Review: Chicken Soup for the Soul: Family Caregivers

Welcome to Moms Saving Money! If you're new here, you may want to follow on Twitter or fan us on Facebook Thank you for visiting!

I am a huge fan of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book because you get a sense of not being alone. If you have followed Moms Saving money for awhile then you know my hubby is a caregiver for seniors and my sister is the primary caregiver of my mother who has several medical issues.

Over a year ago my sister picked up her family from Idaho and moved here to central Virginia to live closer to me so we can share some of the responsibilities of caring for my mother. My sister is still the primary caregiver but my mother comes and stays at my place for a few days every so often.

So this was a wonderful read because the stories of people having to be caregivers to a family member is one of the hardest things a person may do in their lifetime whether its being a caregiver to a parent, a spouse or even a child with special needs.

If you are looking for a heart warming book that you will also get some good chuckles at then you will want to read some of these stories.

You can purchase this book on Amazon HERE or at Barnes and Noble HERE.
